DID YOU KNOW that many drakes (male ducks) shed body feathers twice each year? Almost every drake sheds the bright plumage after mating. For a few weeks, the male ducks resemble the females. This is called eclipse plumage.
The duration of the new coloration varies with the species and individuals. Blue-winged teal and shovelers can keep their eclipse plumage until mid-winter. The duck's wing feathers are shed only once a year and are the same color.

The manufacturer will replace all defective parts. A defective return goods authroization from Gardecor®, Inc. is required.
