This Buddha is made of polyresin. You can place it outdoors but it won't last nearly as long as the brass or concrete Buddhas we have. The longevity depends on the climate such as sun exposure, wind, humidity. The resin Buddha will eventually crack from dryness and fade due to sun exposure.
You might consider periodically applying a wax and/or a UV protectant to Buddha to preserve him for a longer time. We sell an artificial foliage sealer (for polyester and plastics) with UV protectant that should work.
