The idea of the rain tree came from the far East where people deeply felt great benefit from the rain as a gift from heaven. The water is pumped up into the very top branches from where it runs down the lower branches and leaves.

Espalier is a tree or shrub that is trained to grow in a flat plane against a wall, often in a symmetrical pattern.

The height dimension is measured from the "ground" to the top of the tree. Sizes shown are suggested and can be customized to fit your application and pool.

All rain trees are custom made (not mass produced) and require 8-12 weeks to craft and ship. So, take your time and carefully determine the exact size of your rain tree before ordering.

The catch-pool diameter should be at least twice the diameter of the tree. Properly installed, the rainfall will be gentle and not a spray. At installation and periodically during use, the leaves are bent at an angle such that they are properly aligned so that the water flows downward.

The fountains must be kept clean of debris at all times. If debris gets into the branches, the tubing will clog, and the water will not properly flow, if at all. For best results, a regular cleaning cycle is highly recommended. To prevent debris from entering these fine pieces, the incoming water can be filtered before entering the rain tree.
