Presenting a unique design element, scuppers are built into this water fountain. Scuppers are the channels on ship decks or found on roof tops through which water flows. It gives a uniform visual of water flowing over the bowl into the lower structure. Scuppers will be louder than a flat rim where water sheets over the bowl.
If you want to purchase a garden fountain with scuppers, just enter "scuppers" at our search tool. You'll find many styles of fountains with this design.
To achieve all the natural-looking patinas and textures on this indoor wall fountain, the artists had to: pound the copper metal with different hammers, run back-n-forth over the fountain structure with his Kubota tractor, twist it the metal into weird contortions, and shoot it with special pellets. The metal was heated and quenched to give it a color rainbows. Chemicals and washes of color were applied to give the final finish. Afterwards this wall fountain was covered with optical Lexan so that it will look that way more or less forever.
This wall fountain is six feet by six feet, but it can be made to fit your space.
