The original Four Elements statues were hand carved in the early 1800s for Elveden Hall, Norfolk. The reproduction of these charming Four Elements statues was commissioned by Stockport Borough Council for the Dutch Garden at Lyme Hall, Cheshire. The cast stone statue of Earth one of the Four Elements statues. The Element Earth statue features a cornucopia (harvest cone) of fruit to symbolise the fruit is of the earth.
