These clocks automatically adjust for time by the US Government National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Boulder, Colorado. They send a signal through the airspace via a low frequency radio signal. Units receiving this signal are automatically adjusted for the correct and most accurate time.

To set this radio-controlled clock, you'll need an AA battery. A button allows you to set this to your time zone or any time zone you prefer. Companies get several clocks to display the correct time around the world.
